Surface conditionThe best cathodic protection with ZINCA will be obtained when blasting to a standard Sa 2.5 with a roughness Rz of approx. 50 µm. (ISO 8501-1 : 1998). In some cases a hand cleaning to a standard St 2 can be sufficient. All surfaces must be prepared to the ISO 8501 -1standard . Application temperature must be above 5 º C and the difference between surface temperature and dew point greater than 3 º C . For specific recommendations .contact your Zingametall representative. |
