Outstanding Characteristics

Sarv coat 8150 coal tar epoxy is suitable for use in cold & hot climates It can easily applied in very thick coat. It is excellent rust preventing. Chemical resistance against hydrochloric acid, sodium hydrochloric, salt water and sour crude oil.

Recommended Use

For protection of steel in marin structures, pilling , crude oil tanks, ships bottom, pipe coating, power plants, petrochemical & oil refining plants.

Surface Preparation

Remove oil and grease, etc. with suitable detergent. Remove salt and other contaminants by  (high pressure) fresh water cleaning.

Abrasive blasting to Sa 2½ SSPC-10 with a sharp –edged surface profile corresponding to Rugotest No.3, BN9a, Keane- Tator comparator, 2.0 G/S or ISO comparator, medium (G).

1or2 layers of 100-200 µ each sarv coat 8150 on bare steel 1 layer of epoxy sealer sarv coat 8729-10r2 layers of 100-200 µ each sarv coat 8150 on concrete.
