Sarv coat 1983-8 is a three-pack, medium zinc, self curing (reacting with atmospheric moisture), and solvent borne zinc ethyl silicate & weldabel coating.

Recommended Use

As a temperature protective primer for the coating of steel work prior to the fabrication & for relatively long term protection of blast cleaned steel plates & other structural steel.

Surface Preparation

Remove oil & grease, etc. with suitable detergent

Grit blasting to minimum Sa 2½ with a surface profile equivalent to Ragotest No.3, BN10a.
